'A candid tale of 20-something humanness and extended note to self.'
Hello. It's lovely to meet you.I write about my feelings on the internet. 'I am Kathy B' was set up when I was twenty years old to document a defining decade. It is, essentially, a coming-of-age online diary, in which I muse about love and relationships, mental health/wellbeing, growing up, fucking up and figuring shit out. I also dabble in poetry, which my friends laugh at.
I write the things I wish I could have read when I was younger, and the stuff I know I'll want to read back when I'm older.
You can find out a bit more about my background in this interview I did.
I write the only way I know how.Sure, I publish words in the hope that I can inspire or entertain others on a mediocre Thursday. I want to make a difference where I can and I love connecting with people: making them feel less alone, perhaps. But more than anything, I write for myself. Because I can't not. Because it's my thing, and it will always be my thing.
We could be the dream team!I accept sponsored content when it fits, if it matters, and also take on freelance projects. If you've got a proposal of any sort, you can email me or find me mid-rave about Ed Sheeran on Twitter here.
Thanks for being part of the adventure.
