A Brighton based blogger sharing a candid tale of 20-something humanness

About/work with me

I write a candid tale of 20-something humanness.

I'm Kathy. I'm a lover of toast, sunsets, reading and petting dogs. I work at a hospice (less depressing than it sounds, I promise) and I'm writing my first book.

I also write about my life and feelings on the internet. This blog was set up when I was 20 years old to document a defining decade. I even stood - drunk - on a chair to declare its birth to my nearest and dearest. It is, essentially, a coming-of-age, honest (painfully, sometimes) blog in which I muse about life as a 20-something: love and relationships, mental health and wellbeing, books and adventures, growing up, fucking up and figuring it all out. I also dabble in poetry, which my friends laugh at.

I write the things I wish I could have read when I was younger, and the stuff I know I'll want to read back when I'm older.

You can find out a bit more about my background in this interview I did.

Now grab a cuppa and stay for a while, please. I see you. I feel you. I appreciate you. I hope this blog makes you feel less alone in your humanness, gives you a virtual cuddle or a kick up the ass when you need it and helps to remind you of the little things that make this life so lovely.

We could be the dream team!

I accept sponsored content when it fits, if it matters to me, and also take on the occasional freelance projectIf you've got a proposal of any sort - especially if it relates to mental health/wellbeing, involves a book, me learning something new, a charitable cause or campaign or some kind of adventure, all relevant to 20-somethings of course, you can email me or find me mid-rave about avocados on Twitter here.
